Habitantes de la Colonia El Bajío bloquearon sobre la Avenida Lázaro Cárdenas a la altura del Centro Cultural y de Convenciones (CCCO) en Santa Lucía del Camino, para exigir la intervención del gobierno del estado ante el incremento del ambulantaje en dicha colonia.
Leonel Cortes presidente de la colonia El Bajío aseguró que tienen contabilizados alrededor de 50 ambulantes que el presidente municipal Dante Montaño, por lo que temen que la inseguridad se incremente sobre la calle principal Tamiahua, en donde pretenden instalarlos.
Dijo desconocer si pertenecen a alguna organización, sin embargo, piden mesa de diálogo con el presidente municipal de Santa Lucía del camino y con el gobernador del estado Alejandro Murat Hinojosa.
Explicó que estos ambulantes se instalaron luego de que el Gobierno del Estado movió los conciertos y eventos de la Feria del Mezcal al Centro de Convenciones lo que ha generado inconformidad entre los vecinos, por ello amagaron con mantener el bloqueo hasta recibir respuesta por parte de las autoridades estatales.
Leonel Cortes denunció que en años anteriores la autoridad ha permitido la instalación de ambulantes, sin embargo, generan exceso de basura, congestionamiento vehicular e inseguridad; además de malos olores y demás suciedad.
