Pobladores de San Jerónimo Coatlán, Miahuatlán, exigieron al Instituto Estatal Electoral y Participación Ciudadana de Oaxaca (IEEPCO), reponer sus elecciones municipales, al señalar que existieron diversas irregularidades durante el proceso.
Expusieron que el IEEPCO sustituyó supuestamente de manera dolosa en la boleta electoral el nombre de Silvio Juárez por Silvio Pérez, lo cual, generó que ciudadanos se confundieran al momento de votar y de esa manera la planilla verde quedó fuera de la contienda.
Por esta acción responsabilizaron al funcionario de este organismo electoral, Javier García Santiago, pues la elección fue anulada el pasado 21 de diciembre de 2022 y las autoridades estatales nombraron a un comisionado que se presentó hasta el 23 de enero de 2023.
Ante esta situación, los representantes de los pobladores urgieron al gobierno estatal ordenar al administrador que se reponga las elecciones lo antes posible, al referir que les han notificado que será hasta el mes de noviembre, sin embargo, ellos no quieren tener un vacío de autoridad.
“Nos vamos a movilizar sino nos escuchan, ya le enviamos un documento al gobernador, nosotros no queremos administrador en el pueblo”, puntualizaron.
