Integrantes del Comité de Defensa Ciudadana (Codeci), exigieron justicia por el crimen del ex dirigente Catarino Torres Pereda, a 11 años de su asesinato.
Señalaron que la Fiscalía General del Estado de Oaxaca (FGEO), no ha sido eficiente para dar resultados en las investigaciones de los hechos, lo que genera impunidad.
Afirmaron que el crimen se registró durante la transición del gobierno de Ulises Ruiz Ortiz y el de Gabino Cué Monteagudo, cuando se presentaron varios crímenes de luchadores sociales que tampoco han sido esclarecidos.
Las autoridades han sido omisas, los trabajos no han sido eficientes, y esto se refleja en la falta de justicia para el pueblo, al cual no le dejan más que la movilización.
De la misma forma, acusaron que las dependencias de gobierno no han dado la atención que se necesita para mejorar las condiciones de las comunidades en donde tienen representación.
Amenazaron con un plantón indefinido en la ciudad en caso de no tener los avances que están esperando.
