Pobladores de San Agustinillo Tonameca y La Florida, exigieron a la LXIII Legislatura local no seguir protegiendo al ex presidente municipal de Santa María Tonameca, Fernando Mendoza Reyes, de quien se presume desvió más de 13 millones de pesos en supuestas obras ejecutadas.
Esto fue denunciado por Armando Ibarra Razo, secretario del Comité de Agua de San Agustinillo Tonameca, quien explicó que se aprobaron 6 millones de pesos para una obra de agua potable en San Agustinillo y 7 millones de pesos para obra de pavimentación en La Florida, sólo la primera registró un avance del 70% fue reportada como concluida.
Detalló que Fernando Mendoza desde el inicio tenía la intención de desviar recursos, al anunciar que iniciaría una obra de 2 millones de pesos, pero al conocer los pobladores el proyecto original que se encontraba en la Comisión Nacional del Agua se percataron que fueron destinados 6 millones de pesos, dos veces más de lo dicho por el Edil.
Inició la obra pero a partir de diciembre del 2016 con un avance del 70%, el Edil se negó a contestar llamadas, a recibirlos y nunca entregó los recursos restantes para la conclusión de la obra, que además fue comprobada como concluida.
Destacó que en la Florida igual se autorizaron 7 millones de pesos para una obra de pavimentación, pero el Alcalde solo pretendía cubrir 500 metros lineales y a través de la empresa de su hermano Ariel Mendoza Reyes, con ese recurso millonario que alcanzaría hasta para 4 kilómetros de calle, la comunidad se opuso y pidió explicaciones pero el ex presidente municipal lejos de explicar prefirió no llevar a cabo la obra.
Armando Ibarra Razo sostuvo que solicitaron a la Auditoría Superior del Estado y al congreso local a través de la comisión pertinente de auditoría que encabeza Eva Diego, que se hiciera una auditoría a esa administración y lejos de resolver les dijeron que mejor se las arreglaran con ellos y dejaran de denunciar ante medios de comunicación los presuntos desvíos.
